Star Gayzers Patron: George Takei
Thank you for the invitation to become a patron of your club, Star Gayzers LGBTIQ. I would be delighted to serve as a patron of a gay group interested in astronomy.
As a matter of fact, I happen to have an asteroid named after me by the International Astronomy Association and, as you might already know, I happen to be gay.
However, I am an American who infrequently visits Australia. So my participation will, alas, have to reflect this fact. Perhaps, in the near future I will be able to fulfil my duties, whatever they may be, there in Brisbane.
